Bean guns?! What does it mean? It's a reference to the Japanese tradition of kids running around throwing beans at demons. Known as Setsubun in Japan, it's a ritual that is supposed to drive away demons and cleanse the evil from the previous year. Someone dons a demon mask, and the kids go cuckoo pelting them with beans. The Japanese have the best customs!

The Promised Neverland
story by Kaiu Shirai, art by Posuka Demizu

First, it was a mysterious door! Then, it was a mysterious phone ringing! And now it's...a ton of information about the world! This series usually gives a slow, but constant drip of information about the strange world the series takes place in, but in this chapter, it's more like a fire hose! Much is revealed, but as usual, that means even more questions pop up. Major, and I mean Major, reveals in this week's The Promised Neverland

Promised Neverland

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda

Talk about an action-packed chapter! So many moving parts, but as usual, expertly handled by the incomparable Eiichiro Oda. And also a heartfelt chapter with the return of a very special, and sorely missed, Straw Hat. But Luffy's crew aren't out of troubled waters yet, Big Mom's still hot on their trail!

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

There's a mystery afoot in this manga. A cheesy mystery, if you will. Aoyama's been acting weird, well, weird even by his standards. He seems to be fixated on Deku for some reason. Is he a spy? Is he the mole? Or is it something entirely different? Deku's determined to find out what he's doing, and specifically, why he was standing on his balcony watching him. Creepy!

My Hero Academia

Hunter x Hunter
by Yoshihiro Togashi

Hunter x Hunter is back, baby! And this first chapter is a doozy. Kurapika's got his hands full teaching a bunch of bodyguards how to do Nen while an assassin's murdering people! Talk about multitasking! Plus, some old familiar faces make an appearance on the Black Whale. And they're not taking a pleasure cruise. Welcome back, HxH

We Never Learn
by Taishi Tsutsui

Your eyes may pop out of your head when you see some of the art in this chapter! Yuiga and Asumi go to the beach to take fake beach fun pictures to convince her dad they're dating. But things go awry when somebody loses their bathing suit top! Hint: It's not Yuiga.

We Never Learn

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki, contributor Yuki Morisaki

The battle of the sweet desserts has come to a conclusion and now the fight shifts to the First Seat Tsukasa versus everybody's favorite nudist chef, Isshiki! These two are the cream of the crop and both are quite confident in their own abilities. But there can only be one winner. Can the First Seat be un-seated?

BOZEBEATS
by Ryoji Hirano

It's the final JUMP START chapter of BOZEBEATS! This manga has made quite a splash around SJ Headquarters due to the incredible art, fun characters and cool demons. And this chapter ups the ante quite a bit as it combines high-speed car chases with thrilling demon banishing! I think this manga has a bright future ahead of it!

Bozeboats

Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata

The crazy "giant monster" battle between members of the The Black Bulls and members of The Eye of the Midnight Sun's has concluded and it was quite a brouhaha! It was a very surprising battle, but what happens next will floor you! Hold on to your grimoires!

ACT-AGE
story by Tatsuya Matsuki, art by Shiro Usazaki

Yonagi gets quite the surprise when she has an unexpected run-in with the eccentric director that become suddenly fixated on her. A run-in that kinda turns into a kidnapping and then a commercial shoot. Just another day in the topsy-turvy life of an aspiring actress in ACT-AGE

Act Age

Robot x Laserbeam
by Tadatoshi Fujimaki

It's the 15th hole! And it's one of the toughest holes on the entire course, putting even more pressure on these two hot-blooded rivals. They've both got super golf skills, but they both also have drawbacks. It's make it or break it time! Who will prevail?!
