Crossed Souls offers so many different Deck building opportunities to Duelists that it can be hard to decide what to do! If you can't decide which strategy you want to go with first, you can always turn your efforts towards picking up cards that you can reliably play in any strategy you might decide on. Here are three Crossed Souls cards that work anywhere!

Jar of Avarice is a Trap that shuffles any five cards from your Graveyard back into your Deck and lets you draw one card. On the surface, this looks similar to cards like Yang Zing Path that shuffle monsters back into the Deck in order to draw cards, but there's a key difference that makes Jar of Avarice an all-star for any Deck: it lets you shuffle any cards back into your Deck! In the past, these kinds of card-drawing effects have always required monsters and, in nearly every case, have required monsters of a certain theme. Jar of Avarice gives you a second chance at your most powerful Spells and Traps, even Limited cards like Raigeki, and lets you draw a card in the process!

Mystical Space Typhoon is a great card for any Deck because it can destroy any single Spell or Trap Card, whether it's face-up or face-down. Galaxy Cyclone is a Spell Card that takes this simple effect and breaks it down into its fundamental parts, "Destroying a face-down Spell or Trap" and "Destroying a face-up Spell or Trap." Then, it lets you do each part once! When you first activate Galaxy Cyclone, it destroys a face-down Spell or Trap Card. But on your next turn, you can activate its other effect from the Graveyard and destroy a face-up Spell or Trap Card! One Galaxy Cyclone can do the work of two Mystical Space Typhoons, especially if your opponent relies on a lot of Continuous Spell/Trap Cards or Pendulum Summoning!

"Efficiency" is the hallmark of lots of cards in Crossed Souls, and Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit may be the most efficient of them all! This Level 3 Psychic-Type monster can do pretty much anything but attack, since it has 0 ATK. You can send it from your hand or field to the Graveyard to destroy any monster on the field that activates its effect or to destroy any face-up Spell or Trap on the field that activates an effect. It's also a Level 3 Tuner monster, so even if your opponent manages to not use any cards that Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit can eliminate, you can still use it for a Synchro Summon. And since it's got high-DEF and its effect can be used from the field, Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit can always be used to defend your Life Points.

You can find these cards when Crossed Souls launches on May 15!
