Gambling! Luffy would make an amazing dealer! No matter how far away you sit, he could stretch his arms and deal you a card. Plus, with his rubbery fingers, he could do all kinds of cool card tricks. But, he would probably be terrible at bluffing. You'd definitely know if he had a great hand! Sparkles in the eyes and a huge smile!

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda

This arc continues to get curiouser and curiouser! The Straw Hat gang have fought plenty of unusual enemies, but they may be up against the strangest of all on Whole Cake Island. The bizarre creatures of the Seducing Woods have been confounding them since they first arrived. Can they solve the mystery of this weird place? Or stay trapped forever?!

One Piece

Boruto
created and supervised by Masashi Kishimoto, art by Mikio Ikemoto, script by Ukyo Kodachi

Boruto is kicking butt in the Chunin Exam. Just when it seems like he’s outmatched, he pulls off a miraculous upset. And the word of his success has reached his father Naruto’s ears. But Boruto is hiding a dark secret. One that will be very painful if revealed!

Bleach
by Tite Kubo

Last chapter ended on one helluva cliffhanger! Is Yhwach dead? Did Ichigo and his allies defeat the strongest foe they’ve ever fought? Will any of them die? Find out what happened and a whole lot more!

Bleach

Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro

One by one the Eight Kings are falling! Even though they’re the strongest beings on the planet, they’re up against something that’s beyond comprehension! The world’s about to come apart at the seams if something isn’t done quick! Where’s Toriko?!!

World Trigger
by Daisuke Ashihara

The Rank Wars continue! Osamu and his teammates have grown so much since they first started fighting together. Especially Osamu. He’s gone from being a liability on the team to being an asset. And he’s done it the Shonen Jump way—lots of practice and determination. There’s a lesson there!

World Trigger

The Promised Neverland
story by Kaiu Shirai, art by Posuka Demizu

I will admit, I fall for JUMP STARTS pretty hard. I don’t think I’ve ever read a first chapter of a JUMP START and not liked it. But the first one of The Promised Neverland has totally blown me away. It’s so well done, it seems like this manga has been going on for a long time. And the follow-up chapter is just as good. I predict big things for this one!

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki, contributor Yuki Morisaki

Erina has really grown as a character. From the mean girl who didn’t want to let Soma into the Totsuki Institute to his best ally and best chance of defeating Dean Azami. That’s the kind of character growth that makes manga fun. You just never know what “bad guy” or “bad girl” in this case, might become good. Fun!

Food Wars

Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata

The battle under the sea is over and now it’s time for a little celebration. And some magical repair work because the Black Bull Knights are a mess! Since they’re an outcast group, they’re not used to being the heroes or getting a hero's thanks. See how they deal with their newfound fame!

Blue Exorcist
by Kazue Kato

I love a good mystery! And this series has quite a few of them, but the biggest one and the one Lightning has decided to crack is—the mystery of the Blue Night. What happened that night? So many strange goings on, but no explanations. Looks like Lightning and his newfound apprentice Bon are on the case!

Blue Ex

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

Deku has a new superhero costume! But he’s not the only one! Some of his classmates at U.A. have got some fancy new duds too! And that’s not all, they’re about to embark on the next chapter of superherohood—their provisional license! It’s like a learner’s permit, but for superheroes!

Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign
story by Takaya Kagami, art by Yamato Yamamoto, storyboards by Daisuke Furuya

Ferid is a master of head games. Literally! One minute he’s acting like he’s a friend to Yuichiro and crew, then the next he’s throwing the cutoff heads of their friends at them! Talk about mixed signals! But for now, they’ve got no choice but to go along because he could easily kill them. What’s his end game? And how long do they have to pretend to go along with his mad schemes?

Seraph

Nisekoi
by Naoshi Komi

It’s the final chapter of Nisekoi!!! I feel like a real life version of the OMEGERD meme girl! Nisekoi is amazing because I don’t even like harem manga. Not a fan at all. But this manga’s contagious energy, hilarious characters and heartfelt moments won me over. And pretty fast too. I was also amazed at Komi Sensei’s ability to keep coming up with wacky scenarios every single week. This was one of the most discussed manga in the SJ office. And being a Chitoge fan, I’m pretty happy with how it all played out. Can’t wait to see what Komi Sensei does next!!!
