art by Kohei Horikoshi

If you were having any doubts about how awesome My Hero Academia is (though I can’t imagine you would, considering all the cool things that happened this month!), this cover really drives the point home! Four whole years of My Hero Academia AND a movie?! The movie premiered at Anime Expo in the United States and I heard it was pretty freakin’ cool. Here’s to many more years, Horikoshi Sensei!!

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

Endeavor was seriously injured in the fight with the Nomu and he seems to be taking it pretty hard. In addition to Horikoshi Sensei's ability to draw fantastic battles, I’ve always been impressed with his characterization and how intelligent and reflective the people in his series are. I don’t want to give too much away, but this part made me like Endeavor as a person a bit more. Check out the chapter and see for yourself!

My Hero Academia

Dr. Stone
story by Riichiro Inagaki, art by Boichi

Senku and friends are gonna make a car?! I love how innovative Senku is and how the people in the village continue to go along with his crazy plans with general success. But with Tsukasa still stirring up trouble, a bright future for mankind is still in doubt!

We Never learn
by Taishi Tsutsuji

Furuhashi always just says what’s on her mind—straight and to the point. I love how she just does her own thing when interrogating Yuiga on his relationships with the other girls. This manga is always a treat, and so is the parfait in this chapter.

We Never Learn

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki

Suzuki just got here and he’s already challenging Soma to a shokugeki? And what’s this about his ambitions? And there’s more information on the mysterious Asahi Saiba who defeated Soma’s dad. There wasn’t much cooking in this chapter but the drama really made up for it!

Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata

Well, that was unexpected…Rades is having a bit of a change of heart? No one seems to be giving him the time of day though, seeing as Asta’s first instinct is to just punch him. Though Charmmy’s got the right idea—eat and forgive and forget! I still can’t believe their base can move! This chapter was really exciting!

Black Clover

The Promised Neverland
story by Kaiu Shirai, art by Posuke Demizu

A lot of plot for one chapter! After all the craziness in recent months, it’s great to get a chance to learn more about the world. Emma is as determined as ever to free the children in the orphanage. While we get some answers, there are a ton of new questions brought up in this chapter and the mystery surrounding the demons and "the promise" deepens.

One-Punch Man
story by ONE, art by Yusuke Murata

Two whole chapters in this issue?! Two whole chapters!!! Now that’s a bargain! Saitama would be pleased. While Garo keeps on rampaging, Saitama faces his biggest foe—himself! And forgetting his wallet!!! (Super relatable, by the way. I forget my wallet in places all the time). Meanwhile, Genus seems to be very interested in these new monsters and how Saitama got his power. Read the issue to find out more!

One Punch Man

Extras: Author comments, Nihongo lesson, and a new one-shot next week by the creator of élDlive and Reborn, called HOT!!
