A very serious Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma cover! Erina looks like something serious is on her mind and Soma's not even facing the viewer! You can feel the drama! And this series is definitely in a very dramatic moment. The big shokugeki to save the future of Japanese cuisine is in full swing!

Food Wars!: Shokukeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki, contributor Yuki Morisaki

The judges have tasted Italian Chef Julio's eel dish and it was a hit! It had all the judges squirming around in pure ecstasy! But now it's time for normally naked chef Isshiki to present his dish. Will the judges be so eel-lated with his food that e'll defeat Julio and help sink the dev-eel-ish plans of Dean Azami? Find out as the battle of the eels comes to an eel-ectric finish! And if you haven't heard, the writer of Food Wars! Tsukuda Sensei is coming to Anime Expo! Details here!

Food Wars

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda

One of my favorite things about One Piece is Oda Sensei's amazing ability to surprise me even after 865+ chapters of the manga! It's downright astonishing that anyone can keep coming up with new and original ideas so many years after beginning their manga. And this week's chapter proves again that creatively, Oda Sensei is truly in a league of his own. I won't ruin the surprise, but you will be surprised!

The Promised Neverland
story by Kaiu Shirai, art by Posuka Demizu

The kids are trapped in an underground cavern surrounded by man-eating (and child-eating) tree roots! Yes, tree roots! Carnivorous plants are the first challenge they've run into since leaving the orphanage, but it certainly won't be the last. It's a classic battle--kids versus trees! Who will prevail?!

Promised Neverland

We Never Learn
by Taishi Tsutsui

Disaster strikes when Uruka forgets to wear a bra on the day her class is playing sports! Making matters worse, some sports are coed and she ends up playing basketball against her crush, Yuiga! Will they play fair? Or can we expect some "personal fouls"? Then you're in for a treat with a second chapter where the gang goes to the mountain for a school trip. But things get tense when one of the girls gets lost! Can Yuiga save the day?

We Never Learn

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

The raid on the Yakuza compound is off to a great start. In fact, it's been easy. Too easy. But all that changes when an enemy strikes in a most unexpected way. The heroes may have overwhelming strength, but the yakuza have the home field advantage and...trickery!

Robot x Laserbeam
by Tadatoshi Fujimaki

Robo-kun and Rion are having quite a match with the geezer golf jerks! If everything was fair, they'd be cleaning up the course with them, but these two bad grandpa golfers don't play by the rules. Add to that, Robo-kun's inexperience with the game and you have yourself a real page turner of a match. Which is saying something considering they're playing golf!

Robotx Laserbeam

Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata

I admit I'm a bit of a connoisseur of manga public bath/hot spring antics. It's a well-worn trope that seems to show up at some point in every manga. And as someone who enjoys them and has read a lot, I give the hot springs antics in this chapter an A+! It has ample eye candy, is hilarious and comes up with some surprising twists. Nice work, Tabata Sensei!

Dr. Stone
story by Riichiro Inagaki, art by Boichi

Things are not going well for Taiju and friends! Despite their attempts to create gunpowder and stop Tsukasa, he managed to land a deadly blow on Senku! And now Taiju and Yuzuriha are on the run! Senku's the smartest one and without him, there's virtually no chance of bringing back civilization! Is mankind doomed?!
