Geargia has been a super-popular Deck for almost two years now, and on October 17, it’ll finally get the full Structure Deck treatment with Geargia Rampage Structure Deck!

The Geargia Deck is all about gathering parts to assemble huge mecha Xyz Monsters like Gear Gigant X. Geargiarmor is the current golden standard for fetching lots of monsters out of your Deck, but the new Geargiauger is sure to give it a run for its money. When you Normal Summon Geargiauger, you can grab any Level 4 EARTH Machine-Type monster from your Deck and add it to your hand. But keep in mind that you’re restricted to Summoning and attacking with only Machines for the rest of the turn. That’s perfectly fine if you go and grab Geargiaccelerator, just like you would with Geargiarmor, since you can Special Summon it and Xyz Summon Gear Gigant X right away!

The trade-off is that Geargiauger is a one-shot effect, and you’ll need to use it as Xyz Material right away, unlike Geargiarmor, which can keep flipping up and down while defending your Life Points and searching out monsters over a series of turns. But that’s also the major benefit of Geargiauger—you can use it as Xyz Material right away and you can search your Deck for a monster right away as well. It’s very high-speed and low-risk. You don’t have to Set Geargiarmor, and you don’t even have to give your opponent a turn to Set Traps and respond to it like you would with Geargiarmor. You can use Geargiauger on the very first turn of the Duel!

Geargiarmor, while extremely powerful, is also very predictable. Often, your opponent will refuse to attack and instead wait for you to flip your monster face-up and negate its effect. That leaves them open to taking a hit from another new monster from Geargia Rampage: Geargiattacker! Geargiattacker works a lot like Geargiarmor. It’s a monster you can flip face-up and face-down each turn, but while 'armor has 1900 DEF, 'attacker has 1900 ATK and a low-DEF. When you flip it face-up, you get to destroy Spells and Traps up to the number of other Geargia monsters you control. So when your opponent thinks they’re going to be clever by not attacking an “obvious” Geargiarmor, you can Summon a Geargiauger or Geargiarsenal, then flip Geargiattacker to destroy a Spell or Trap, then attack, Xyz Summon, or both! It’s a cool way to mix things up in a traditionally very predictable Deck!
