Super Starter: Space-Time Showdown isn’t just an introduction of Pendulum Monsters, it also has 13 other brand-new cards! The most exciting of those 13 may just be the new Continuous Spell Supply Squad – its effect constantly refills your hand so that you won’t run out of cards during those long, epic Duels!

Supply Squad is a Continuous Spell, so it stays on the field forever unless something else destroys it. Once per turn, if one of your monsters gets destroyed, you get to draw a new card to replace it! That effect works on both players’ turns, so if your opponent manages to beat your monster in battle on their turn, you draw a card, or if you walk into a Trap Card during your turn, you draw a card. With all the extra cards you’ll be drawing, you’re sure to draw your best cards faster and more often than ever before.

There are no limitations on what kind of monsters you can use Supply Squad with. The destroyed monsters don’t even have to go to the Graveyard, so if one of your Pendulum Monsters is destroyed and goes to the Extra Deck, you can still draw a free card with Supply Squad!

Even though you can use Supply Squad in any Deck, there are some strategies that it works exceptionally well in! Any Deck that needs to destroy its own monsters for whatever reason can make great use of Supply Squad. Fire King Decks need to destroy Fire King Avatar Yaksha, Fire King Avatar Barong, and Fire King High Avatar Garunix to trigger their effects, and with Supply Squad they can draw extra cards just for doing what their Deck is supposed to do. Scrap Decks boosted by Primal Origin’s Scrap Factory also destroy a lot of their own monsters, and when they do, Supply Squad helps them to refill their hand while they Special Summon more and more Scrap monsters.
