He decides to rid the world of evil—by killing off criminals one by one. When the murders start to pile up, genius detective L is on the case, and an epic battle of wits unfolds.

With its gripping suspense, striking visual style, and morally complex storytelling, Death Note remains one of anime’s most influential psychological thrillers. Every episode pushes the rivalry between Light and L into darker, more unpredictable territory, making the complete series dangerously easy to binge.
