Fossil Fuel!

Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo's effect stops both Duelists from Special Summoning. Meanwhile, Redox, Dragon Ruler of Boulder's special effect lets you discard it along with an EARTH monster to revive anything from your Graveyard. Here's a good tip to take advantage of those effects: while Fossil Dyna and Redox are in your hand, Normal Summon a powerful monster, fill your field with Special Summons, and then discard Redox and Fossil Dyna to bring Special Summon Fossil Dyna onto the field! Your opponent won’t be able to Special Summon, and you’ll already have all the monsters you want.

Diamond in the Rough!

Diamond Dire Wolf’s a Rank 4 Xyz you can play in any Deck! It doesn’t need specific Xyz Materials, so any two Level 4 monsters will do. Its ability lets you target two cards: the first is any Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster you control, and the second can be any card you want (usually your opponent’s card). The effect destroys both targets, letting you trade a monster to destroy anything you need to get rid of. If you play a Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast Deck, you’ve got lots of options. But even if you don’t, you can destroy Diamond Dire Wolf itself to blow something away.
