Ready to Duel with power? REAL power? Then check out Starter Deck Kaiba – Reloaded, based on Seto Kaiba's Deck! This Deck, like its counterpart Yugi – Reloaded, comes with fifty cards specifically chosen to teach Kaiba’s basic tenements of Dueling: Summon huge monsters and dominate your foes!

Playing with strong Level 4 monsters is one of the foundations of Dueling. Level 4 monsters are the highest Level monsters you can play without Tributing or doing anything special, and you can confirm their usefulness for yourself with classic cards like Vorse Raider and La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp.

Kaiba has always been all about his Blue-Eyes White Dragons. You get two of them in Kaiba – Reloaded, along with a plethora of different ways to Summon them. They’re Level 8, so normally you’ll need to Tribute two monsters you already control to Summon a Blue-Eyes from your hand. Kaiser Sea Horse changes that. Not only is it a useful Level 4 monster, it also counts as two Tributes if you use it to Summon a LIGHT monster like Blue-Eyes! You can also use the Dragonic Tactics Spell Card to Tribute two Dragons and Summon Blue-Eyes from your Deck instead of your hand. It’s fast and convenient!

Of course, why Tribute two of your own monsters when you can Tribute one of your own and one of your opponent’s?! Normally, that’s against the rules, but the rules don’t matter when you have Soul Exchange! It lets you Tribute an enemy monster for anything you’d normally Tribute your own monster for, like a Tribute Summon or to activate cards like Enemy Controller

Outside of special cases like Soul Exchange, there are two primary ways to fight off your opponent’s monsters. One is to destroy them with the effects of cards. Kaiba – Reloaded has plenty of Spell and Trap Cards that get rid of monsters, like Sakuretsu Armor, Widespread Ruin, and Tribute to the Doomed. The second way is to win battles against them with your own monsters. Many of Kaiba’s monsters have superior ATK and DEF to begin with, but you can always help them out with cards like Rush Recklessly or Shrink. It’s all in a day’s work for a master Duelist!

Like Yugi – Reloaded, Starter Deck Kaiba – Reloaded also has a series of monsters that can level up based on battle conditions. Yugi’s Silent Swordsman LV3 levels up just by surviving a turn and Silent Swordsman LV5 levels up by attacking directly. Kaiba’s monsters, Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4 and Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6, both level up after crushing an opposing monster in battle! Horus LV4 cannot be swayed by cards that steal away opposing monsters and Horus LV6 is unaffected by Spells. Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, which you can get by playing in a Duelist League near you, lets you pick and choose which Spells can be activated successfully and which will be shut down! Play all the Spells you like and prevent your opponent from doing the same and you can give yourself a great chance to win!
