Legacy of the Valiant has two incredible new cards for Noble Knight Duelists—Gwenhwyfar, Queen of Noble Arms and Noble Knight Peredur! They both will be must-haves for Noble Knight Duelists, so study them carefully!

Gwenhwyfar, Queen of Noble Arms is there to support your Noble Knights. She’s a Monster Card, but you can play her as an Equip Spell from your hand OR the Graveyard every turn! She provides an extra 300 ATK, along with a special effect depending on the Attribute of the Knight that equips her. She can shield LIGHT Knights from deadly Spells, Traps, and monster effects, or stealthily assassinate the enemies of DARK Knights before they even get a chance to flip face-up!

Once you draw Gwenhwyfar, or get her to the Graveyard with Noble Knight Borz, you are never without a Noble Arms. She’s not an actual sword or shield, but Gwenhyfar still has “Noble Arms” in her name, so equipping her to a Noble Knight will let you use all of that Knight’s Noble Arms related effects!

Rule Reminder: monsters that have become Equip Cards are considered Equip Spell Cards, making Gwenhwyfar a “Noble Arms” Equip Spell Card.

The other new card for Noble Knight Decks is Noble Knight Peredur. Whenever you build a Deck, you want it to be able to win whether you can play your best combos or not. Noble Knight Peredur gives your Noble Knight Deck a lot of staying power no matter when you draw him, as long as you can equip him with a Noble Arms card.

He starts with 1900 ATK, and if he’s sent to your Graveyard while equipped with a Noble Arms card, you can add any Noble Arms back from your Graveyard to your hand. That makes Peredur a great monster to start the Duel with because you can attack without fear of losing one of your Noble Arms.

It also makes him great in the middle or towards the end of a Duel, especially if you can equip him with Gwenhyfar, Queen of Noble Arms. If you do, he’ll become DARK, and Gwenhyfar will help him win any battle. If, by chance, he gets destroyed by a Trap or other effect, you can add any Noble Arms back to your hand and leave Gwenhyfar in your Graveyard for later. Then, your next Knight will be able to carry two Noble Arms into battle!

Gwenhyfar, Queen of Noble Arms and Noble Knight Peredur are both worthy additions to any Noble Knight Deck, and you can get them for yourself starting at the Legacy of the Valiant Sneak Peek on January 17–18. Legacy of the Valiant goes on sale on January 24!
