Judgment of the Light: Deluxe Edition recently came out on Friday, September, 27th. With this awesome new release, you'll find nine packs of Judgment of the Light, sleeves, foil versions of Archfiend Emperor, the First Lord of Horror and Flying “C”, one of two cool collectible card-storage boxes, but that's not all! The Deluxe Edition goes one step further. Every Deluxe Edition comes with one of two foil preview cards from the next booster set, Shadow Specters, which are tournament legal, meaning you can play with them right now!
Dragon-Type monsters are tearing up the Dueling scene, and the Dragon Shield Equip Spell Card makes sure they come to no harm while doing so. While it’s equipped to a Dragon, that Dragon can’t be destroyed, but it also can’t inflict damage to your opponent. It can still destroy enemy monsters though and use its effect, so Dragon Shield is best used on a monster like Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon that has a powerful effect that you can use every turn. Your Red-Eyes won’t need to deal any damage because it’ll be Summoning a friend to its dirty work for it every turn!
While Dragons are the most popular monster-Type right now in terms of what Decks people are playing, Zombies are the clear winner in terms of what kind of monsters people want to play. Especially as we get closer to Halloween season, the demand for cool Zombie-Type monsters just keeps going up! Shadow Specters will not disappoint, and the preview card Vampire Kingdom is just a taste of what’s to come!
Vampire Kingdom boosts all of your Zombies by 500 ATK when they’re battling, and if you’re using Vampire monsters, it gets even better. One of the best things about monsters like Vampire Lord and Vampire Lady is their ability to force the opponent to send key cards from their Deck to the Graveyard. And if they succeed while Vampire Kingdom is in play, you can send a Vampire to your Graveyard to destroy any card on the field!
In addition, Shadow Specters is home to the second wave of Bujin cards, but to get the most out of them you’ll want to have Bujin Yamato, Bujin Susanowo, and the Bujingis from Judgment of the Light. With nine packs of Judgment of the Light in every Deluxe Edition, you’ll have a great chance to score some Bujin cards in preparation for the release of Shadow Specters!
Any way you cut it, Judgment of the Light: Deluxe Edition is a great deal you won’t want to miss out on!
