Primal Origin is the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG booster set packed with incredible new cards, but that doesn’t mean older themes from previous sets have been forgotten!

Gladiator Beast Decks were one of the most popular Decks during the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX era of Dueling. Primal Origin introduces two new Gladiator Beasts—Gladiator Beast Augustus and Gladiator Beast Nerokius!

Gladiator Beast Augustus has 2600 ATK, making it the strongest Gladiator Beast that you can include in your Main Deck. In addition, Augustus’ effect lets you Special Summon a Gladiator Beast from your hand!

Gladiator Beast Nerokius has 2800 ATK and can be Special Summoned from your Extra Deck by sending any three Gladiator Beasts from your field back into your Deck. Nerokius can’t be destroyed in battle and stops your opponent from activating cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step when it attacks or is attacked. That makes it nearly impossible to take down during the Battle Phase! Plus, after Nerokius successfully battles, you can return it to your Extra Deck to Special Summon two new Gladiator Beasts!

Evolving Game

Lots of Evoltile, Evolsaur, and Evolzar cards have been released over the past few years. These monsters represent an evolutionary change from Reptile to Dinosaur to Dragon. And Evo-Singularity unites the entire evolutionary lineage!

Evo-Singularity lets you Special Summon an Evolzar Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck by combining any Evoltile monster and any Evolsaur monster in your Graveyard. The Evoltile and Evolsaur monsters you combine become Xyz Materials attached to your ultimate Evolzar. Evo-Singularity lets you Summon a fully-powered Evolzar Solda, Evolzar Laggia or Evolzar Dolkka with the flip of a card!

Diamond in the Rough

Koa’ki Meiru Decks have lots of powerful cards, but sometimes there are issues drawing them at the right time. Diamond Core of Koa’ki Meiru solves that problem and makes a previously forgotten Deck more potent than ever before!

Diamond Core of Koa’ki Meiru lets you add any other Koa’ki Meiru card from your Deck to your hand. That means you can grab a powerful monster like Koa’ki Meiru Urnight or a key Spell Card like the Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru. As an added bonus, you can banish a Diamond Core of Koa’ki Meiru from your Graveyard to make your Koa’ki Meiru monsters impossible to destroy for the rest of the turn.

Look for additional cards that help out old themes, including Scrap Factory (a powerful Field Spell Card that Special Summons Scrap monsters from your Deck) and The Monarchs Erupt (a Trap Card that Monarch Decks can use to negate an opponent’s monster effects).
