Combine two totally different eras of Dueling together to create an incredibly powerful strategy!

So you’ve already peeked at your presents and found the Master of Pendulum Structure Deck and Clash of Rebellions Special Edition. That’s very naughty of you, but since you already know what you’ll be getting this holiday season, why not take some time to think about what sort of Decks you can make with your gifts?

With Master of Pendulum and Clash of Rebellions, you can combine two totally different eras of Dueling together to create an incredibly powerful strategy! As Level 7 DARK Dragon-Type monsters, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon are more alike than not, and thanks to the “Magician” Pendulum Monsters from Master of Pendulum and Clash of Rebellions, they can work together in harmony to Summon their incredible Xyz Monsters forms, Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon and Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon!

In fact, you can finish any Duel in just two swift turns by Summoning Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon on your first turn and Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon on your second turn. To do it, you’ll want to get as many copies of Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon and Red-Eyes B. Dragon in to the Graveyard as you can, then use Xiangke Magician and any other “Magician” with a Pendulum Scale of 8 to Pendulum Summon two Level 7 monsters. The easiest ways to get all the Red-Eyes that you need is Cards of the Red Stone from Clash of Rebellions. It lets you drop a “Red-Eyes” monster from your hand into the Graveyard, draw two cards and send another “Red-Eyes” monster from your Deck to the Graveyard! Older cards like Dragon Shrine or Dragon Ravine can do similar things, but you won’t get the free draws with them.

To set up your Pendulum Scales, you’ll want to use cards from Master of Pendulum like Performapal Skullcrobat Joker and Pendulum Call. Pendulum Call lets you grab both the Magicians you need, and Joker can either get you a Magician or the Level 7 Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon! Once you have all the pieces, Pendulum Summon your two Level 7 monsters, then Xyz Summon Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon. Activate its effect to Summon a “Red-Eyes” Normal Monster from your Graveyard and end your turn. Now your opponent will be down 500 LP for every card or effect they resolve, and your Xyz Monster can’t be destroyed by card effects. If all goes according to plan, you can use your Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon’s effect again in the End Phase to Summon your other “Red-Eyes” Normal Monster.

Now it’s your turn again. Depending on how strong your opening was, you might still have another “Red-Eyes” Normal Monster in your Graveyard. If you do, Xyz Summon a second Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon and use its effect to revive one of those monsters, preferably a Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon. Now, use Xiangke Magician’s Pendulum Effect to treat your first Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon as a Level 7 monster to Xyz Summon Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon with a Level 7 “Red-Eyes” Monster. That lets you use Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon’s effect to wipe out your opponent’s Level 7 and lower monsters, inflict 1000 damage for each and give you three attacks with Rebellion Dragon this turn! You haven’t Normal Summoned yet either, so if you still have a Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon on the field you can change it into an Effect Monster thanks to its Gemini ability.

All in all, you can attack for 11400 damage and then tack on another 2400 from Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon’s effect or 11800 with a Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon on the board to make sure your opponent can’t come back.
