Primal Origin’s Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk has quietly become one of the most popular Xyz Monsters! What it lacks in ATK and DEF, it makes up by wrecking your opponent’s Graveyard strategies and powering up your best Xyz Monsters!
Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk is Xyz Summoned using two Level 4 monsters as Xyz Materials. It has 0 ATK and only 1200 DEF, but those numbers don’t really matter because it’s not going to be sticking around on the field for long! For every Xyz Material you detach from Number 80, you can banish one card in your opponent’s Graveyard—just the thing for countering strategies that need to load up their Graveyards with specific cards, like Dragon Rulers!
After you’re done messing up your opponent’s set up, you can turn Number 80 into an Equip Spell targeting another Xyz Monster you control, and it’ll give that monster 1200 additional ATK while equipped. Make sure to use both of its Xyz Materials first, because you can’t keep them when you turn Number 80 into an Equip Spell! Try attaching it to Artorigus, King of the Noble Knights or Sacred Noble Knight of King Artorigus along with a bunch of “Noble Arms” cards to create an absolutely massive monster!

If it’s monsters on the field you’re worried about, try one of the many Rank-Up-Magic Spells like Rank-Up-Magic Barian’s Force or Rank-Up-Magic Quick Chaos to upgrade Number 80 into Number C80: Requiem in Berserk. It can detach its Xyz Materials to banish enemy monsters on the field instead of cards in the Graveyard, and you can equip it to an Xyz Monster you control to give it 2000 additional ATK and protect it from being destroyed once!

Even though it’s tied for the lowest ATK of any Xyz Monster in Primal Origin, Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk can help you completely ruin, and then overpower, tons of top strategies! If you’re having trouble dealing with cards like Soul Charge or the various Dragon Rulers, give it a shot in your Extra Deck!
