Nothing about Saitama passes the eyeball test when it comes to superheroes, from his lifeless expression to his bald head to his unimpressive physique. However, this average-looking guy has a not-so-average problem—he just can’t seem to find an opponent strong enough to take on!

At last, Saitama and Garo clash. Saitama admonishes Garo to consider the boy Tareo’s feelings, but Garo only accelerates his monsterization. When he braces for defeat in the face of Saitama’s overwhelming strength, he hears a certain being’s voice and obtains transcendent strength of his own!
Saitama became a hero for fun. After intense training, he became so strong he could defeat foes with a single punch and joined the Hero Association with his disciple Genos. When monsters kidnap a child, the S-class heroes launch a raid to rescue them.
