Tamao Azukida's dream is to play for Hakuo—the fearsome high school baseball team that has dominated the prestigious Koshien tournament. When the day of tryouts arrives, his life will be changed forever when he meets a mysterious baseball genius called Tao Ryudo. Come along with Azukida and Ryudo as they vow to make their way to the top at Koshien!
Tamao Azukida isn’t the typical athlete you’d find on an elite baseball team. He’s not the strongest, or the biggest, or the fastest, but what he lacks in athletic prowess he more than makes up for with his moxie and analytical approach. However, his goal for playing for the national champions Hakuo Academy are dashed when he fails to make the team. Though he won’t get a chance to play for his dream team, does that mean his dreams of playing baseball are also over?!
