art by BOICHI

Check out the art by rising artist BOICHI! There's a wonderful thickness to BOICHI's pen strokes that's definitely a defining characteristic of his art. Add this to incredible attention to detail and beautifully muted colors and you get this week's incredible cover!

Dr. Stone
story by Riichiro Inagaki, art by Boichi

Hoo boy, was that quick! The story's intensity just got ratcheted up by ten billion percent! And it's all thanks to "The Strongest Primate High Schooler"...Tsukasa! But they had no choice when it came to reviving him. Or at least it seemed that way when they had a pack of hungry lions hunting them down. But now the situation's gotten worse since it's Tsukasa himself that's hunting them down instead of wild animals!

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda

Wake up Luffy! After 862 chapters of One Piece, you'd think the characters would start getting wise to including Luffy in intricate and complicated plans. But what's the fun in that?! Besides, we wouldn't get comedic gold moments like Jimbei slapping him around. But what might complicate matters even more than Luffy's unpredictability is Sanji's PREDICTABILITY! Can he resist any feminine charm? If he's pretty much putty in their hands when they bat their eyelashes at him, how much of a chance does he stand when THREE eyelashes are batted his way?! Yikes!

The Promised Neverland
story by Kaiu Shirai, art by Posuka Demizu

FULL-ON CONFESSION: I love this manga series. In fact, I probably love it the most of all (at least for now) in JUMP. I mean, what other manga can have me screaming at my iPad because of a bloody four-year-old?! And then to twist that messed-up emotion I had last week into something completely different this week? This manga series just keeps on perverting any and all expectations, so get ready for some more mind-bending epiphanies!

We Never Learn
by Taishi Tsutsui

We Never Learn. What a truly apt and fitting title to a series. It has multiple depths of meaning...from the general student's malaise and aversion toward learning, to the ridiculous situation Nariyuki finds himself in tutoring two lost causes, to Nariyuki's own issues with learning and depending on hard work, and so on! And the hits just keep on coming for Nariyuki with an introduction to another breathless character that'll have him drowning in his own tears of sorrow!

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma
story by Yuto Tsukuda, art by Shun Saeki, contributor Yuki Morisaki

I love soba, and after living in Japan for three years, I feel like I've eaten every type, from hot to cold to plain to swimming in duck meat. But I've never had them stir-fried like it was yakisoba. And now I wanna try it! But what chance does Soma have against a powerhouse in the field of soba cuisine? Here's to hoping that Soma breaks down the conventions that restricts cuisine from breaking free from its traditional constraints and into a new and exciting modern world!

Black Clover
by Yûki Tabata

We finally get more interplay between Asta and Yuno, the two lovable country bumpkins who just so happen to be the best Magic Knight rookies this past year! And now they're respective Magic Knight Squads have placed first and second in ranking. Their rivalry just keeps going strong and it's looking like their intentions on becoming the next Wizard King is more than just talk!

My Hero Academia
by Kohei Horikoshi

Eijiro's one tough kid, figuratively and literally! But the thing that makes him stand out more than others is his bubbly and shining personality, one that's open and honest without much machinations behind it. And now he finds himself, as well as some of his other class 1-A mates, embroiled in a complicated tangled web of criminal activity involving the yakuza and the nefarious League of Villains!

ROBOTxLASERBEAM
by Tadatoshi Fujimaki

FORE! This new incredible sports manga is making a beeline your way. Robo's got involved in another golfing incident involving his hapless friend, only this time he's facing off against one of the most promising young golfers in the world! Can Mr. Straight Shot take down a golfing prodigy despite not even knowing a single rule?! Only the golfing gods can answer that question, and lemme tell ya, they're a bunch of meanies.
