In 2006, he wrote and published a one-shot, Sket Dance, that began serialization in 2007 in Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan. Having sacrificed her memories and time with Morihito to save his life, Nico is now a child. And the previous youngest of the group, Miharu, is growing jealous of all the attention she’s now getting instead of him! His jealousy pushes Nico to summon an animal familiar, which, as per all the antics in the Otogi household, doesn’t go quite as expected. Then, with Christmas soon approaching, Morihito goes into full parent mode, wanting to make the perfect Christmas for the young Nico…resulting in a brief reunion that’s bittersweet enough to make even Morihito cry.
