Yodaka’s worst nightmare comes true when his job as a Public Safety ninja forces him to go to high school and even worse…talk to people! When it comes to combat, his skills are off the charts. When it comes to social interaction, he completely falls apart. But things take an unexpected turn when he discovers that talking to Aoi Mukai, the girl he’s assigned to guard, is surprisingly easy.

Ippon Takegushi is a Japanese manga writer whose first serialized work, Candy Flurry, began running in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2021. Takegushi has collaborated with Santa Mitarashi on various one-shots, including “If Parsley Farmers Are the Best, Then Parsley Is the Best Vegetable,” published in Weekly Shonen Jump, “Something Only I Don't Know!,” published in Jump GIGA, and other one-shots published on Jump+.

Santa Mitarashi is a Japanese manga artist whose previous works include “Spaceship Minamo,” “Escort of the Hero of the Holy Sword,” and other one-shots published on Jump+. Shinobi Undercover began running in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2024.
