We are a diverse group, but we have one thing in common: we love manga, anime and Japanese pop culture. Luckily, we don't have a strict dress code. Checking out what happened in the world of marketing and advertising while I was sleeping. Creating new promotional items to become your future treasured anime keepsake. Then top it off with an ongoing skimming of the internet to see what fans like and don’t like in the anime / Japanese pop culture / American pop culture space. Organizing Sailor Moon parties.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR FASHION STYLE?

Loud.

HOW IS YOUR STYLE INFLUENCED BY MANGA, ANIME OR JAPANESE FASHION?

I like a lot of the traditional 70s and 80s anime color stories with a twist of what inspires me around the office. P.S. Our unofficial office shoe is a pair of well-loved Chuck Taylors.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE CLOTHING STORES AND FASHION WEBSITES?

Pop Killer in L.A.'s Little Tokyo, my grandma's closet, Nike, any enclosed accessory / apparel from Japanese fashion magazines, loveculture.com, H&M, Target, T-shirt a Day sites like Red Bubble, Threadless and human.com.

Though my fave is when I can re-use old cosplay bits and pieces. BOOM! FREE CLOTHES, plus I look like Light from Death Note.

WHAT FASHION ACCESSORY CAN YOU ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NOT LIVE WITHOUT?

Lens-less plastic frames.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK AS A CREATIVE OUTLET AND FOR FUN?

Sleep. And chase the chickens in the backyard, find new ways to put meat in traditionally non-meat containing foods, terrorize badly behaving children, stalk fabric stores for tacky, loud textiles so I can make clothes for other people with them. Which is probably an outlet for cosplay, which I used to do, but don't have the focus for anymore. Hamburger bloomers and steak cookies for everyone! And sleep.
