Everyone's Getting Married is not a live-action Asian drama. But it has the same good feel and flow as those romantic TV series. Asuka has a career in banking, and Nanami is highly sought after to host PTV's entertainment shows because of his talent as a newscaster and because of his pretty face. It's an adult series about having a career and finding a lasting relationship.

Asuka wants to give up her successful career and become a homemaker. This puts off the single men she meets, but she wants to focus her energy on building a home in which the members of her future family feel happy and secure. She's upfront and pursues this goal as a determined K-drama heroine would, even though she gets flack for it.

Nanami engages in casual sexual relationships with various women at the start of this series, but he respects Asuka's straightforwardness. Although he knows they want separate futures, he can't help but be drawn to Asuka and falls in love. The one thing he doesn't want is to ever get married.

But there is much more than an awkward K-drama stage kiss in this romance. (Everyone's Getting Married is rated M for Mature.) The story focuses on the relationship between them after they've become a couple. Be prepared for steamy scenes!

This manga makes you root for both Asuka and Nanami to overcome challenges in their careers and to make their romantic relationship work. So if you're in the mood for a manga like a good K-drama (without all the melodrama), pick up Everyone's Getting Married. (^_^)v
