When Yugi needed to turn a Duel around in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, he could always count on Mirror Force. Mirror Force is an iconic Trap Card known for reflecting a monster’s attack back at your opponent and destroying all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls. It’s the ultimate defensive Trap Card. A well-timed Mirror Force will not only protect your Life Points but will also devastate your opponent’s field and let you turn the tables in a Duel. Yugi always had Mirror Force when he needed it. Now, thanks to Mirror Force Launcher in the next 100-card booster set, Cybernetic Horizon, you can always have it when you need it too!

Once per turn, during your Main Phase, Mirror Force Launcher lets you discard a monster to add a Mirror Force from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand. As long as there’s a monster in your hand, Mirror Force Launcher will reliably let you Set a Mirror Force to your field. Your opponent will be reluctant to attack you or your monsters if they know you have Mirror Force.

Mirror Force Launcher’s second effect will make your opponent think twice before destroying your face-down Spell & Trap Cards. If your face-down Mirror Force Launcher is destroyed by an opponent’s card effect and sent to the Graveyard, you can Set Mirror Force Launcher from your Graveyard and Set a Mirror Force from your hand, Deck or Graveyard to your field. Plus, a Mirror Force Launcher or Mirror Force Set by this effect can be activated during the same turn that it’s Set.

If you’re using a bunch of Mirror Force Launchers and Mirror Forces together in the same Deck, it can be tough for your opponents to figure out which of your face-down cards are Mirror Force or Mirror Force Launcher. If your opponent destroys a face-down Mirror Force Launcher while expecting it to be a Mirror Force, the consequences can be catastrophic. You’ll be able to Set an extra Mirror Force onto the field with your Mirror Force Launcher’s effect, and the destroyed Mirror Force Launcher will return to the field to collect more Mirror Forces. Your opponent’s hope for victory will be shattered as they realize that every time they declare an attack with a monster, their entire field of Attack Position monsters will be wiped out.
