After the shocking realization that his father is Satan, the king of demons himself, Rin vows to defeat him! With his twin brother and his friends, Rin attends True Cross Academy to train as an Exorcist. Armed with his extraordinary Blue Flame and the Koma sword, Rin has a fighting chance against the forces of evil. Though his Blue Flame defeated many demons, it might be too much for Rin to control...
In Volume 7, Saburota Todo and Mamushi Hojo have stolen the Impure King’s eyes, which release a poisonous gas if they fall into the wrong hands. Mamushi believes that Todo will seal away the dangerous eyes, but when his malicious intentions are revealed, it’s too late for her to turn back. Who will be able to stop the resurrected Impure King?
In the mean time Rin learns about Father Fujimoto’s connection to Tatsuma Suguro and the origin of the Koma sword. Rin is determined to join the fight, but he fears he’ll lose control over his flame and hurt his friends. Will he be able to overcome the fear of his flame and fight the Impure King?
Everything is connected in this volume. The Koma sword’s secret past will determine the future of the upcoming battle and perhaps seal Rin’s fate. These new revelations and twists made me so excited. When I finished this volume I wanted to know more! What’s going to happen to Rin? I can’t wait to see what happens in volume 8; the cliffhanger at the end of this volume was so gripping.
The gripping story line wasn’t the only thrilling aspect of this volume; Blue Exorcist’s stunning fight scenes never cease to amaze me. The battle scenes brought something new in every page. Who would have thought Suguro’s father could kick some demonic butt! The battle between him and Todo was so epic it was hard to tell who was going to win.
What secrets in the past will determine the future for Rin and his friends? What will become of Rin? Find out in Blue Exorcist volume 7 on sale April 3.
