Legendary Collection Kaiba has a tricky new Trap Card that’ll throw your opponent for a loop. And if your opponent isn’t careful, it’ll guarantee the destruction of his or her monsters, along with his or her Life Points!

Loop of Destruction, available for the first time in Legendary Collection Kaiba, is a new Trap Card that can destroy monsters and inflict damage to both players’ Life Points. Its effect is reminiscent of Kaiba’s Ring of Destruction from Battle City, with a few key differences.

Unlike Ring of Destruction, Loop of Destruction is a Continuous Trap Card. That means it stays face-up on the field after it’s activated, so you can use it throughout a Duel. Once per turn, if a monster on the field is destroyed by a card effect, you can target a different monster on the field and destroy that monster. Loop of Destruction then deals 500 points of damage to each Duelist. By incinerating a monster and inflicting damage to both Duelists, Loop of Destruction creates a domino effect each time a monster is destroyed by the effect of a card.

In addition to the fact that Ring of Destruction and Loop of Destruction both destroy monsters and inflict damage to Duelists’ Life Points, they have one key similarity that is impossible to overlook: They have the same name while they’re face-up on the field. While it’s on the field, Loop of Destruction’s name becomes Ring of Destruction. That’s important for only one reason: It can be used to Special Summon Destruction Dragon.

Destruction Dragon is a new Fusion Monster in Legendary Collection Kaiba that can be formed by using The Fang of Critias. Simply use The Fang of Critias to send a Ring of Destruction from your field to your Graveyard and Summon forth Destruction Dragon from your Extra Deck!

Destruction Dragon has 2000 ATK and 3000 DEF, plus an incredible effect that’s even stronger than the original Ring of Destruction. Once per turn, Destruction Dragon can destroy any card your opponent controls, including Spell & Trap Cards! If its effect destroys a monster, your opponent—and only your opponent—takes damage equal to the original ATK of the destroyed monster.

You can use Destruction Dragon’s effect to clear the path for your monsters to attack, or to eliminate your opponent’s remaining Life Points with its effect damage. Either way, once you stick Destruction Dragon on the field, it’ll bring about the destruction of your opponent.
