Are you ready for the latest out-of-this-world Field Spell in Extreme Force? Boot Sector Launch is just the card “Rokket” Duelists needed to launch them to the top of the Dueling scene!

Boot Sector Launch comes with a bunch of cool effects. As long as it’s on the field, all “Rokket” monsters gain 300 ATK and DEF. This minor stat boost is handy, making all your basic attackers into real threats, but its other effects are really what make Boot Sector Launch shine.

Once per turn, you can activate one of its other two effects. The first of those effects lets you Special Summon up to two “Rokket” monsters with different names from your hand in Defense Position. The second of its effects lets you Special Summon from your Graveyard “Rokket” monsters with different names in Defense Position until you control the same number of monsters as your opponent. The more monsters your opponent controls, the more powerful this effect becomes.

There are three “Rokket” monsters in Circuit Break, plus two more in Extreme Force, that you can Special Summon with Boot Sector Launch. Those monsters are Anesthrokket Dragon, Autorokket Dragon, Magnarokket Dragon, Shelrokket Dragon and Metalrokket Dragon. Each of those monsters has an effect that can be activated when a Link Monster’s effect targets it, and an effect that lets you Special Summon a “Rokket” monster from your Deck in the End Phase of the turn that it’s destroyed on the field and sent to the Graveyard.

Use Boot Sector Launch and your “Rokket” monsters’ effects to swarm the field so that you can quickly Link Summon the “Rokket” boss monster: Borreload Dragon! Borreload Dragon (available in Circuit Break) has a Quick Effect that lets you target a face-up monster on the field once per turn to reduce its ATK and DEF. Use its effect to target your “Rokket” monsters and set off their effects. The Quick Launch Quick-Play Spell Card (available in Circuit Break) can also help you Special Summon “Rokket” monsters to the field to facilitate Link Summons and give you a “Rokket” monster to target with Borreload Dragon’s effect. If you can’t quite muster up the monsters for Borreload Dragon, you can use the Link-2 Underclock Taker from Extreme Force for a less powerful but more economical targeting effect.

Make the most out of Boot Sector Launch by also using it in combination with Squib Draw (available in Circuit Break). Squib Draw lets you destroy a “Rokket” monster on your field to draw two cards. Use Boot Sector Launch to Special Summon “Rokket” monsters to your field, and then trade them in for two new cards immediately by using Squib Draw. This combo will allow you to speed through your Deck to draw the cards you need.

New support in Extreme Force transforms Rokkets into a formidable theme. Thanks to Boot Sector Launch, you can jettison some of the weaker cards in your “Rokket” Deck and replace them with this powerful Field Spell that inundates opponents with missile-monsters.
