Get D.s cards to boost your Dueling game!
Seto Kaiba knows that Dueling is all about power, and Legendary Collection Kaiba is packed with powerful cards, including five brand-new cards in every box!
The King of D., available in Legendary Collection Kaiba for the first time ever, is the latest incarnation of Kaiba’s iconic Lord of D. Spellcaster. The King of D. has 1200 ATK and 1100 DEF like the original Lord of D., but also comes with a powerful new effect.
While The King of D. is face-up on the field, its name becomes Lord of D.. When it’s Normal Summoned, you can discard a Spell or Trap Card to add a copy of The Flute of Summoning Dragon, The Melody of Awakening Dragon or Dragon Revival Rhapsody from your Deck to your hand.
The Flute of Summoning Dragon lets you Special Summon any two Dragons from your hand, but it only works if Lord of D. is face-up on the field. Since The King of D. counts as Lord of D. while it’s face-up on the field, The Flute of Summoning Dragon is now easier to use than ever before!
The Melody of Awakening Dragon is a Spell Card that lets a Duelist discard a card from the hand to add two Dragons with 3000 or more ATK and 2500 or less DEF from the Deck to the hand. Since Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon both have 3000 ATK and 2500 DEF, The Melody of Awakening Dragon works to call both of those monsters from your Deck to your hand.
Dragon Revival Rhapsody is a new Spell Card, available for the first time in Legendary Collection Kaiba! You can only activate Dragon Revival Rhapsody if you control a Spellcaster-type monster. Since The King of D. is a Spellcaster-type monster that searches the Deck for Dragon Revival Rhapsody, this requirement is easy to satisfy. Dragon Revival Rhapsody’s effect lets you target up to two Dragons in your Graveyard, including at least one Normal Monster, and Special Summon them. Then, your opponent takes no damage for the rest of the turn.
Dragon Revival Rhapsody fits right into Blue-Eyes Decks, since it so easily Special Summons Blue-Eyes White Dragon from your Graveyard. If there’s a Blue-Eyes White Dragon in your Graveyard, you can even Special Summon a useful effect monster like Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon, Arkbrave Dragon, Lightpulsar Dragon or The White Stone of Ancients alongside it. Summoning two monsters at once can also set you up for a powerful Synchro Summon or Xyz Summon!
The King of D. and Dragon Revival Rhapsody are powerful cards worthy of being in a Deck with Kaiba’s name on it. Wield their power after the release of Legendary Collection Kaiba and let them help you call forth the mighty Blue-Eyes White Dragon!
Legendary Collection Kaiba goes on sale March 9, 2018!
