After battling it out with Banmaru Zoushi's mechanical puppet--the Kibanten--Rushuna and Yajiro bid farewell to the denziens of the Peach Blossom...but not before they gain a new member. The trio is advised to travel to the capital in order to find Rushuna's mentor, who holds possible answers about her past. But word spreads of Banmaru's defeat, and an unhappy court sends out a Juttensen to kill Rushuna before her victory brings hope to anti-Imperialist factions...
