Our free manga section is bursting with great titles. You can read classics you may have missed, check out some newer titles or dig into our ongoing series--for absolutely free. No catch! We just want to give you some great stuff to read. While the free section is always changing with new series being added, we have a strong stable of regulars, including our latest addition, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. Here are the basics about our continuing series and why we think you should read them!

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes
Story by Hideyuki Furuhashi, Art by Betten Court, Original Concept by Kohei Horikoshi

My Hero Vig

What it's about: A spin-off of the wildly popular My Hero Academia series that's a different take on the manga superhero genre. These are unofficial heroes, with powers or personalities that weren't quite ready for primetime. It takes place in the same universe as My Hero Academia and guest stars characters from the main manga from time to time.

Why you should read it: It's funny! It has a wonderfully offbeat sense of humor that stems from the quirky nature of its three main characters. It has heart. It's not all laughs, these characters are real and so is the story. It's focused. With fewer characters, the story is tighter and you'll really get to know these "heroes."

And Toyotarou Sensei's art is bursting with all the energy and impact that the first series had. Fans have gone wild for this expansion of the story and have accepted it as part of the greater Dragon Ball universe. Even old salty fans (like the writer of this article) like it!
