The new “Sky Striker Ace” Link Monsters in Dark Saviors are easy to Summon. Each of them can be dropped into the Extra Monster Zone by using a single card. These new Link Monsters are powerful and they pull together the larger “Sky Striker” theme.

Sky Striker Ace - Kagari and Sky Striker Ace - Shizuku are LINK-1 monsters that can be Link Summoned by using a “Sky Striker Ace” monster as a Link Material. The monster used as a Link Material must be a different Attribute than the monster you’re Link Summoning, so Kagari (a FIRE monster) and Shizuku (a WATER monster) can be used as Link Materials to Summon one another. You can also use the Level 4 DARK monster, Sky Striker Ace - Raye to Summon either “Sky Striker Ace” Link Monster.

Kagari and Shizuku each only have 1500 ATK to start, but both are able to modify the ATK of monsters on the field. Kagari gains 100 ATK for each Spell Card in your Graveyard. Shizuku decreases the ATK and DEF of all enemy monsters by 100 for each Spell Card in your Graveyard. If you have enough Spell Cards in your Graveyard, Kagari and Shizuku are able to defeat just about anything in battle.

Spell Cards are at the center of the “Sky Striker” theme. There are lots of “Sky Striker” Spells, and most of them have effects that are enhanced by having Spell Cards in the Graveyard. It’s important to have lots of Spells ready for use if you’re using a “Sky Striker” Deck. Fortunately, Kagari and Shizuku have effects that will get you more “Sky Striker” Spells!

If Sky Striker Ace - Kagari is Special Summoned, you can target a “Sky Striker” Spell in your Graveyard and add it to your hand. If Sky Striker Ace - Shizuku is Special Summoned, during the End Phase of that turn, you can add a “Sky Striker” Spell Card from your Deck to your hand that has a different name than any of the Spell Cards in your Graveyard.

If you Special Summon Kagari and then use it as a Link Material to Summon Shizuku, you’ll be able to use Kagari’s effect to grab a Spell Card from your Graveyard, and later on in the turn use Shizuku’s effect to grab a Spell Card from your Deck. Sky Striker Ace - Kagari and Sky Striker Ace - Shizuku can each be Special Summoned once per turn to make use of this tactic.

The “Sky Striker” Spells have a variety of effects that include searching the Deck for “Sky Striker” cards to add to the hand, drawing cards, destroying monsters, destroying Spell & Trap Cards, negating monster effects, taking control of monsters and Special Summoning Sky Striker Ace Tokens to the field. There’s a “Sky Striker” Spell for just about every situation. Sky Striker Ace - Kagari and Sky Striker Ace - Shizuku will make sure the Spell you need is in your hand when you need it.
