One Piece X Toriko: Taste of the Devil Fruit
by Eiichiro Oda & Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro
Special Digital Gift for Subscribers Only! Offer Expires March 30th!
I’ve read a few crossovers like these, but this one takes the cake. Or the meat, as you will! The main characters are perfectly matched and seeing them chow down together was fun. Oh, and it has a super funny ending!
Bakuman
story by Tsugumi Ohba, art by Takeshi Obata
This arc really impresses me, and I commend writer Tsugumi Ohba for exposing the dark sides of Internet haters, the voice acting industry, and how the Japanese media handles scandals. Great stuff!
One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda
Holy banana boats, this arc is wild! An island half on fire and half made of ice! A samurai with cut up body parts that act independently! Giant children! And the Straw Hats and Captain Smoker caught the middle. Oda continues to pour on the crazy sauce!
Naruto
by Masashi Kishimoto
The Fourth Great Ninja War continues! The five kage and Madara continue to do battle and Lady Tsunade takes it to the next level. Meanwhile, Itachi continues to prove he’s the coolest dude ever. IMHO!
Bleach
by Tite Kubo
Short chapter this week, and off next week. Still, always nice to see the old man (Captain General Yamato) in action! Even if it’s brief!
Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro
Another ridiculous chapter! A cook that gets in the ring and pro-wrestles his food! Just when you think you’ve seen everything silly possible in this manga, Shimabukuro throws something new (and tasty) at you!
Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan
by Hiroshi Shiibashi
It looks like the pieces are coming together for the biggest battle this manga has seen yet! Things are getting serious in the land of the spirits!
