I ate dragon fruit and akebi for the first time. They were good!
In order to draw the festival scenes, I’m listening to traditional festival music from all over the country. I haven’t had a candy apple this year yet!
The fall is when you eat saury! But I’ve only had it once. I’ve gotta eat more!
The Promised Neverland
The series is taking a break next week! I’ll be working on some color pieces and character designs during that time. Look forward to it!
We did my daughter’s miyamairi shrine visit ceremony for newborns. Seeing my mother, wife and daughter together like that made me so emotional.
The Grand Cinema Sunshine in Ikebukuro has the largest IMAX screen in Japan. I’m upset that I missed seeing Dunkirk there.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba
I want to create a scary story, but just thinking about it is making me piss my pants. It’s probably not possible for me.
My Hero Academia
My schedule has gotten unbelievably Plus Ultra!
Spy x Family
I’m nervously back in the pages of Jump once again. You can find me and my series on Jump+ every other Monday! [For the English version, go to shonenjump.com or Manga Plus.]
Mitama Security: Spirit Busters
Does it feel like there are two chapters in this week’s issue? It may be the work of an evil spirit…
We Never Learn
Somehow I’m mysteriously getting more and more workout equipment around my desk. This Burn Machine is great!
Let’s go! A new hobby! I didn’t take it so seriously, but I felt like I was dying because I’m not used to it.
Mission: Yozakura Family
I believe that Griffin in Men in Black 3 showed the colonel the future of his son, J.
Samurai 8: The Tale of Hachimaru
The Kagawa udon I got from my staff was delicious! I’d love to go there and eat it fresh someday!
Tokyo Shinobi Squad
The creator who helped us with the Thai language scene has a manga called Hitojichi Tantei (Hostage Detective) that can be read in Japanese on the Jump Rookie website.
Yui Kamio Lets Loose
I went to a number of sports festivals. This year has been so hot that I wore shorts to all of them. I’m a healthy type.
Three straight wins for Japan! It might be over by the time you read this, but I can’t wait for the match against Scotland!
I also loved the TV shows Money no Tora (the Japanese version of Shark Tank) and Ai no Binbou Dasshutsu Daisakusen (Mission of Love: Escape from Poverty). I think I’d get along really well with Matsuki Sensei.
