0323 Ygo 1Special Editions are a great way to catch up with cards that you might not have been interested in when a booster first came out, but have gotten hot since then. Raging Tempest has so many good cards in it, that some of them simply got lost in the shuffle until now! Here are some cards to look out for that may not have been lighting up Duels a month ago but have since become popular.

Lost Wind didn’t get much attention when Raging Tempest launched, but after Duelists got a chance to see first-hand what it could do to the most popular and powerful Decks in competition, they started to take notice! The YCS tournament in Atlanta was broadcast for all to see, and what they saw was a Paleozoic Frog Deck with 27 Traps, including three copies of Lost Wind, take down a series of Zoodiac Decks en route to the championship. It’s a Normal Trap Card that permanently negates the effects of a face-up Special Summoned monster and halves its original ATK. Even better, if your opponent Special Summons from their Extra Deck while Lost Wind is in your Graveyard, you can Set it back to the field for a second use.

There are four Fusion Monsters in Raging Tempest, but it wasn’t until the Fusion Monster-focused Fusion Enforcers set that Fusion Recycling Plant became a hot commodity. The Fluffal/Frightfur strategy benefits greatly from new cards like Fluffal Penguin and Frightfur Kraken, and Fusion Recycling Plant gives you constant access to Polymerization and the ability to retrieve Fluffal Penguin from the Graveyard every time you use it for a Fusion Summon. The first time you use Fluffal Penguin to Fusion Summon a “Frightfur” monster each turn, you can draw two cards and discard one. Doing that every single turn can quickly turn into a huge win!

Raging Tempest Special Edition pulls the mighty Babobaboon forward from Maximum Crisis and unleashes it in the Duels of today! Duelists are looking for more ways to destroy Babobaboon as part of making a bigger Summon, and one of the popular methods right now is to destroy it to help Summon a True King. True King Lithosagym, the Disaster from Raging Tempest is becoming more popular for its 2500 ATK, the fact that it needs to destroy at least one EARTH monster, of which there are many in competition these days, and the fact that as a Super Rare it’s easier to get your hands on than True King Agnimazud, the Vanisher or True King Baharastos, the Fathomer.

If you missed out on these three cards, or anything else from Raging Tempest, now’s your best chance to pick them up thanks to Raging Tempest Special Edition , on sale now!
