In Takane & Hana, Vol. 5, we meet Rino Inokuma, a beautiful medical student who went to high school with Takane. She’s obsessed with Takane, and she makes no attempt at hiding her love for him!

So of course, Rino takes one look at Hana and decides that she’s not good enough for Takane, not one bit! Hana isn’t that bothered by Rino’s appearance, but it does force her to examine her own feelings for Takane. Does she care about him like an annoying pet she can’t get rid of or does she LIKE like him? ;p Feel free to weigh in!

I quite like Rino and all her surprises as well as how she sees Takane’s good points. I’d love to see more of her sass in the future. But in the meantime, check out Volume 5 for all the fun back-and-forth between her and Hana! =D
