Toriko is Karate chopping your boredom! Actually, that looks like his world-famous Fork attack! And he has a shirt on! He dressed up just to be on the cover! I don't think he's had a shirt on in the manga for like 20 chapters.
Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro
Is it just me, or does Toriko's chest look like it's about to explode in the color spread in this chapter? His right pectoral looks as big as Komatsu! This manga just keeps topping itself with this battle. Just when you think it can't get more intense, Granny Setsuno shows how powerful she really is. I've said it before, and I'll say it again—this is some of the best battle art ever put to paper!
One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda
I was really hoping to see more of the tournament and I got my wish! This whole chapter is filled with crazy characters beating the crud out of each other! Including the Funk Brothers from before, and some new faces like the mind-boggling Jean the Bandit—who seems to be part cactus, and part man. And Don Chin Jao shows up to get even with Luffy!
Jaco the Galactic Patrolman
by Akira Toriyama
A government agent is trying to take Omori's island away from him—even though it's been deserted forever, and his wife's grave is there! Good second chapter. It seems Jaco and Omori are starting to bond a little bit. And we find out more about Omori's time traveling attempts.
World Trigger
by Daisuke Ashihara
Training has officially commenced! Chika's focusing on sniper training, and is already showing improvement. Yuma's going hand-to-hand against his trainer Konami, but without using his full powers. And Osamu is, well, not doing as well.
Naruto
by Masashi Kishimoto
This battle is really getting interesting! With all the previous kage taking on the new Obito jinchuriki, the jutsu they're throwing at each other is on a whole differen't level! There's a great exchange between Naruto, who of course wants to charge in, and Sasuke who has a more analytical mind about the fight. Just like old times!
One-Punch Man
story by ONE, art by Yusuke Murata
The meteor's about to hit the earth and there's not much time to stop it! Will Bofoi, or as he prefers to be called, "The Metal Knight", stop it? Will Genos save the day? Or will a bald guy? Hrm. I wonder.
Nisekoi
by Naoshi Komi
Shu's got a crush on someone! And Raku's determined to find out who. The two head to the roof to discuss each other's crushes, but they're both being coy! Will we finally find out who they really like? Do they even know?
Bleach
by Tite Kubo
It looks like it's the quiet before the storm—and of course, Ichigo's right in the middle of all of it. Which I guess is funny, considering he's not even in this chapter. But his friends and family are, and the final fight is right on horizon. But you'll have to wait! Bleach is going on a bit of a break, and wont return until the 09/09/13 Issue!
Cross Manage
by Kaito
It's the final chapter of Cross Manage! A year's gone by since the stunning loss against the Choran team and it's time for a rematch! But this isn't the same team as last year, they've got some new faces and a lot more practice. It's never easy to end a manga, but Kaito does it with grace and class. And the end ties into the beginning perfectly—Sakurai finally found something he really enjoys.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal
Original Concept by Kazuki Takahashi
Story by Shin Yoshida
Art by Naohito Miyoshi

Wow! This is one of the most emotionally-charged chapters of Yu-Gi-Oh! I've ever read! For any of the series, actually. Things aren't looking good for Yuma in his duel against Shadow! But if he goes down, so do Ryoga and Kaito. And in a moment of pure sacrifice, Yuma gives everything he has to save his enemies! So much in fact, Astral senses an incredible change happening!
Dragon Ball
by Akira Toriyama
Action-packed chapter! Looks like Piccolo and Krillin have a plan to deal with Napa! But it all hinges on Gohan! Will he come through?
