Can you believe we’re adding yet another manga series to the SJ Alpha lineup? Have we gone totally insane? Looks like it! Blue Exorcist is one of those hit manga no one saw coming. But the great characters, clean art and solid story has propelled it to the top of the manga charts. And now it’s gonna be serialized every month in the magazine!

Blue Exorcist
by Kazue Kato
If you’ve ever wondered, “Hey, how come some manga, like Blue Exorcist, only come out once a month?” Well, that’s because they’re from magazines in Japan that only come out once a month! But you usually get more chapters, so it’s worth the wait! Speaking of chapters, this one is certainly an explosive one! Also, an emotionally charged one. Looks like Rin’s grown a bit and is ready to face his destiny. Cant wait to see what happens next!

The action is picking up the pace, and FAST! Though Yamato’s dead set on becoming a manga creator, there might be better uses for his powerful right arm then drawing. And let’s just say that this week’s issue has one of the best punch-out panels I’ve seen in quite some time...

Naruto
by Masashi Kishimoto
This manga just keeps getting better! And one of my favorite characters is back! It’s amazing to see all the intricate pieces of the story being put in place building up to what’s going to be an unforgettable confrontation.

Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro
Man, whenever someone eats a meal in Toriko my mouth waters. Among his many numerous talents, Shimabukuro can draw food that looks unbelievably tasty. And he’s also a genius at giving characters funny quirks, and the chef One Millimeter Yuda demonstrates.

Bleach
by Tite Kubo
Wow. Just when you think things can’t get worse at the Soul Society, they do! Like way worse! And with Ichigo trapped in a prison, is there any hope?

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda
The giant “candy” addicted kids in this arc are really freaky. I wonder if I’ll see anyone cosplaying as them? Or a whole group of them. How crazy would that look! Anyway, great chapter! Looks the nefarious Caesar Clown’s about to reveal his evil master plan!

Barrage
by Kouhei Horikoshi
A little more of Astro’s background, and his dedication to orphans is revealed! And we get to see a little more of his magic spear in action. I’m really curious about it’s full potential. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
