A Toy’s Story
Living in an enchanted land full of walking, talking toys sounds like a blast! Though these toys can be seen mingling and playing with humans, the reality behind these living wonders is steeped in tragedy.
The citizens of Dressrosa can be simply split into two categories: the forgotten and the forgetters. Every toy in Dressrosa was once a human being. However, once they are changed into toys, their human family and friends soon blissfully forget their existence.
Rebecca the Gladiator, the last known surviving descendant of the Riku family, owes her life to one very brave toy soldier. Thanks to him, she survives Doflamingo’s coup d’état and learns how to defend herself. She’s now fighting in the latest tournament, hoping to win the Flame-Flame Fruit prize in order to bring down Doflamingo!
Meanwhile, the toy soldier befriends Franky and learns about the Straw Hats’ plot to take down Doflamingo’s Smile Factory. Coincidentally, the Toy Soldier and his Tontatta allies are also planning to bring down the factory themselves!
