The Winged Dragon of Ra is quite possibly the most terrifying monster in the history of Yu-Gi-Oh! Marik Ishtar’s Egyptian God Card was feared, and rightly so, for its ability to channel the users own Life Points into a devastating fire that could purge the opponent’s field of monsters and burn their Life Points to the ground.
With the release of Order of Chaos Special Edition, you'll have a chance to get The Winged Dragon of Ra! Like Obelisk the Tormentor, you need to Tribute three monsters to Summon The Winged Dragon of Ra, and once the process has begun it cannot be stopped. In fact, it just can't be stopped period! The only effect that can be activated when Ra is Summoned is Ra’s own effect to convert your Life Points into Attack Points!
Marik’s signature move with Ra was the "One Turn Kill," where he paid enough Life Points to give Ra more Attack Points than his opponent's Life Points. Since both players start with the same amount, you’ll have to give your Ra a little extra, either by using a Spell or Trap or by increasing your own Life Points. If you want to gather monsters for Ra’s Summon and gain Life Points, try Nimble Momonga. When your opponent attacks it, you’ll gain 1000 Life Points and be able to Summon two more Nimble Momongas from your Deck! Now you just need one more monster.
Even if Ra doesn’t finish off your opponent, an attack from it is likely to leave them with very few Life Points left. At that point, you can finish them off with a Trap Card instead. Ceasefire is a useful Trap Card that lets you flip all monsters on the field face-up and prevent their Flip Effects from activating. It also dishes out 500 damage for every Effect Monster on the field. Call on Ceasefire to end the hostilities in a victory for Ra!
