Cosmo Blazer’s “Hazy Flame” monsters are mythological creatures that burn so hot, they warp the fabric of reality! Level 6 FIRE monsters that your opponent cannot target with card effects, "Hazy Flame" monsters can combine to form Hazy Flame Basiltrice, one of the coolest Xyz Monsters around!

Most Xyz Monsters tell you how many Materials you have to use (usually only a few). Hazy Flame Basiltrice needs at least two Xyz Materials, but you can use up to five Materials! And you definitely want to if possible, because the more Xyz Material Basiltrice has, the better it gets.

•  With three Materials, it powers up by 200 ATK and DEF for each, givng it a minimum of 3100 ATK!
•  With four Materials, it gains the “cannot be targeted” effect of the other "Hazy Flame" monsters.
•  With five Materials, it can’t be destroyed by card effects!

Enemy monsters won’t want to mess with Basiltrice, because even if it isn’t supercharged with extra Xyz Material, it can still banish any monster your opponent has played during the Duel—no matter if that monster is still on the field or the Graveyard!

For any Level 6 monster, you would normally need to Tribute Summon them. But the Hazy Pillar Spell Card and Hazy Glory Trap Card lets you Normal Summon "Hazy Flame" monsters without Tributing! Each "Hazy Flame" monster is pretty good on its own, so they’ll be able to hold their own while you prepare to Xyz Summon Hazy Flame Basiltrice. And even if you can only muster two monsters to use for the Xyz Summon, Hazy Pillar lets you attach more monsters from your hand to Basiltrice!
