Secret pantyhose salesman and SJ Alpha editor Urian Brown gives his take on this week's issue.

Cover
art by Eiichiro Oda
Angry Luffy cover! And his hand looks really crazy! I think it’s his “color of arms hardening” technique. What do you think? This has nothing to do with the quality of the issue, but I love purple! And the logo looks really good in purple.

One Piece
by Eiichiro Oda
You’re probably familiar with the color art, as we’gave it away as a wallpaper a few days ago. Beyond all the insane Halloween cuteness, I love that Franky is Frankenstein’s monster! And of course, it’s a crazy chapter too! The energy in this arc is astonishing!

Naruto
by Masashi Kishimoto
This chapter explains a lot of stuff! Madara’s backstory, Obito’s backstory and even the Gedo Statue! Oh, and also how the moon is involved! I have a feeling the Naruto Wikipedia page just got a little fatter.

Cross Manage
by Kaito
Sakurai’s managing skills are truly starting to pay off! Much to their own surprise, members of the team are already starting to improve. But when Sakurai gets a surprise visitor, his past comes back to haunt him.

Toriko
by Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro
Wrapping up the end of the Four Beasts arc, and in the most satisfying way! That’s what I love about Toriko—each arc is like a big meal. The ingredients are all introduced, as the story progresses they’re mixed up, then in the climax they're cooked, and after the big battle it’s like dessert when everything’s resolved. I may be putting too much into this…

Bleach
by Tite Kubo
The Soul Society is in shambles. The Soul Reapers' casualties are great, and even their leader General Captain Yamamoto has fallen. But just when it looks like all is lost, a slim ray of hope appears. His name is Ichigo Kurosaki, and he's all that stands between survival and oblivion.

Takama-ga-hara
by Jyuuzou Kawai
More is revealed about the strange nature of Emishi’s powers to control others. But now he’s controlling Izumo and Kumaso and making them fight! Will they be able to break his control before they kill each other?

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal
Original Concept by Kazuki Takahashi
Story by Shin Yoshida, Art by Masashi Sato
Production Support: STUDIO DICE
The art in this manga is bonkers! And by bonkers, I mean totally awesome! Even if you’re not a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan, if you have any interest in drawing manga, you should take a good look a this. This chapter has dynamic layouts, incredible energy, and some top-notch monster and spaceship designs. I love Frankenstein! I love spaceships, and I love this manga!
