Utsuho and his friends are lying low at an inn in a pleasure district of Owari when they’re attacked by assassins hired by the itsuwaribito Gin, the deceitful and murderous “hero” of the town. For all of Utsuho’s efforts, he can’t seem to get the best of Gin, whose schemes and traps appear endless and insurmountable. But what of Kin, Gin’s loyal lieutenant?
