Our tale begins in the distant future where technology has run rampant and turned on mankind. Giant looming monstrosities of metal called the Builders endlessly work to keep expanding the megastructure known as the City. Even worse, deadly defense robots called the Safeguard are always on the prowl as they are hell bent on extinguishing all human life.

Our main protagonists are a ragtag band of humans who call themselves the Electrofishers. Armed with antiquated weapons and technology they have to constantly venture out of the safety of their base to scavenge for food and supplies. While on one such scavenging run they are ambushed by the Safeguard and ultimately saved by Kily, who’s on a mission is to restore the world back to normal.

In addition to the amazing story, there are also exclusive extras packed on the disc. There is a behind the scenes featurette, plus both English and Spanish audio and subtitles. Even more, if you pick this up on Blu-ray, not only will you get the movie in crisp, clean HD, but there’s also an exclusive art gallery on top of all of the extras included on the DVD.
