A total 1, 2 Punch Out!

Uniqlo, (the Soho store pictured here) is partnering up with Shogakukan (they bring us Inuyasha, Black Lagoon, and Ranma ½) for an awesome set of manga shirts. Word around the office is that it’s to celebrate Shonen Sunday’s 50th Anniversary.

Just look at it! Its like all my favorite manga was so full of awesome that it exploded all over the store. We’re sending over our Sticker Booth and some other goodies, so we can participate from afar. If you take any sticker pictures please send them over! We’d love to see them. Pst~ and tell them to open up a store in San Francisco…right next to the VIZ office. :D

Yeah, its sort of a fusion of Sunday and Magazine for their combined fiftieth anniversary. (Jump's 40th is coming up as well later in the year) Personally I wouldn't mind seeing some of those shirts coming over here...but at the same time I sort of hope Viz can use this to, oh, rerelease and complete Urusei Yatsura. :P (or maybe get some other Sunday series alongside their Jump stuff....or maybe just get a lot of other stuff over but who knows if they'll sell)
