when are you going to get Naruto back on Cartoon Network. So I can
watch it again and watch Naruto Shippuden.

Growing up I watched alot of anime. All of it was dubbed as I was too
young to wrap my head around the concept of watching something and
reading at the same time. I have since matured to be able to enjoy my
anime subbed although I still prefer a dubbed format, the subbed still
feels like a preview to the main event.
I had heard about naruto years before I saw it on cartoon network,
but never could I imagined what I was missing until I spent several
weeks in a row tuning in to watch naruto. The anime is in contrast to
bleach in that bleach is extremely action driven with story taking a
back seat while naruto seems like an extremely well balanced in both
story and action with some surprises that keep you unable to guess
what the manga writer is gonna do next. Most of the story I'm talking
about is in shippuuden but let us not forget the original naruto.
I have even spread the word to many friends I have that I never would
have ever imagined ever taking an interest in anime. They used to not
be able to understand why I had an appreciation for anime, and while
they never judged me until I got them heavily involved in naruto and
all I did was tell them to tune in. They all watch now and we talk
about the anime on a biweekly basis. I even have a friend who went
into the military that downloads some episodes and watches them when
he is out training in the field, it helps him pass the time and many
in his unit watch with him. Immagine a platoon huddled around a laptop
watching an anime.....I always laugh when I hear that.
While it is very exciting to be able to watch the anime on
crunchyrol.com the day it comes out in japan streamlining is still an
extremely volatile and I could go as far as to say an unstable medium
to provide these episodes in a somewhat free medium as network
television although the consumer does pay a fee for the service in
this case comcast. While one person may be able to watch these
episodes in their full 720p glory I on the other hand with 2 gigs
worth of ram seem to be watching at a lower frame rate than my cousin
does with her 2000 dollar laptop. And while these things evolve at the
speed of light it could never beat a high quality download nor a
digital broadcast.
I am genuinely concerned about my buddy who can't stand to watch
naruto in any other format except dubbed. He watched naruto with his 8
year old son every saturday and now he can't and it doesn't seem like
there is any light at the end of the tunnel so to speak with naruto
coming back to cartoon network.
There is one other thing and this is the best thing I can give anyone
who would read a 4-5 paragraph rant from a nobody. Microsoft has
naruto episodes on their marketplace. Microsoft has a partnership with
netflix for extremely good HD and high quality streams, for shows on
network television such as csi's and heroes the day after they air on
network tv and it looks as close to perfect as you can get. So if you
could say get in touch with netflix and instigate a deal to a company
that already buys your dvd's en mass than you may be able to
streamline naruto in the most stable format available. And with
companies like blockbuster going under may be able to help secure a
company(netflix) that may be threatened due to the economy the way it
is. And I highly doubt that netflix would turn you down especially
with an anime that gets billions of streams and fans.
Thank you very much,
jake
