VIZ, LLC ANNOUNCES NEW CONTINUING VOLUMES FOR SHONEN JUMP GRAPHIC NOVEL SERIES TO BE RELEASED OCTOBER 2003 NATIONWIDE
July 9, 2003 (San Francisco, CA) – VIZ, LLC, North America’s leading publisher of manga for English speaking audiences announced today an additional continuing volume for the SHONEN JUMP Graphic Novel Series from the world’s most popular boy’s magazine, SHONEN JUMP. The volumes will be released this October at specialty retailers nationwide. The graphic novel is DRAGON BALL Z, Volume 13.
DRAGON BALL continues to be one of the most popular manga and anime series in the world. It has remained on the top ten most-searched terms on the Lycos 50 for 200 consecutive weeks. It has never been out of the Top 10 since the very beginning of the Lycos Top 50 Report of Internet Searches in August of 1999. In addition, it is the only TV series to have remained on the list for 200 weeks.
The DRAGON BALL series also has been successful on the Internet, TV, home video, video games, action figures, collectible card games and apparel.
